Michael Martineau has been an artist his entire life. When he discovered chainsaw sculpting, he found that it allowed him to be creative by making something out of nothing. The statues can take anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks to complete. Michael visualizes what each piece of wood will be before he starts carving based on the type of wood and it's shape and color. Special orders always present a challenge and allow Michael to utilize his artistic ability to envision the end result.
